I retested this today and if I display the 'Sent-Mail Folder:' combo box and
select sent-mail then the email is stored in the outbox as it should.

However, when I got to File menu/Send Queued Messages nothing happens.
I'll report a bug about that on Friday unless it is corrected in the meantime.
