I ran into a problem in Kontact today. I needed to find pdf I was mailed
several years ago, and I'm not sure exactly who e-mailed it to me (except that
it was someone from work, which narrows it down to about a 100 people...) nor
the exact time-frame.

It is possible to search the e-mail database for e-mails containing one or
several attachments, but would it be possible in a future version to add
something like Attachment type:" and select what document type you want to
find?
