I hit this bug in KDE 4.4.1 (compiled from source, OS is Slackware 13.0); odd
thing is that in KDE 4.2.4 this bug didn't seem to occur. The original settings
where migrated from KDE 3, BTW.

I managed to get it working again by creating a new dummy Identity, then set
the identity I want per folder as it used to do; Kontakt/KMail then finally
seems to remember the link between the two.
