after dragging the left pane a little wider the scrollbar finally appears

and even more information is cut, nothing from the email address is left.
Everything is fine again when I minimize the left pane to zero.

Shouldn't both layout modes be saved? I "simply" expect that the scrollbar in
temporary three pane mode scrolls up to end of the information which is shown
in two pane mode - and that once the user has configured both layouts the
layouts stay as they are until the user changes them again.
