Summary: Group the same action on multiple mails in the
                    progress bar
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mandriva RPMs
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde at ap2c.org

Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

When the same action is performed on multiple mails one entry per mail is
created in the progress bar list (at the bottom right of kmail GUI).

This is particulary annoying if an action is performed on a lot of mails
because KMail' memory consumption can explode and becomes too slow. This always
appears if I move or delete several thousand of mails.

My suggest would be to create only one progress bar by kind of action with that
kind of message "Moving 324 mails from directory aaa to directory bbb" or
"Deleting 3677 mails".

This could appear when multiple mails are selected before doing the action but
also when one action is repeated mail by mail (for instance pressing multiple
times the delete key)
