Currently the search function of kmail is limited to search in "All local
Folders" or in specific folder. There is no way to make a application wide
search including IMAP accounts for example. I got quite a few email accounts
(also several IMAP) and don't always remember which one contains the message I
am searching for. 

I think having another option for searching all mail would be very helpful.
