Hope it is okay for you that I mark this as a duplicate of something very
similar. I don't think that kmail should automatically remove the local folders
when there is an IMAP folder add - people often have several mailboxes and some
may still be POP3. But it should possible to hide the local folders, as
proposed in bug #44864
