OK, according to Serguei it does not function neither in 4.4.3 and the reason
that I didn't come across this bug in that version is that probably I didn't
use this function such extensively. It is clear that this bug still exists.
Maybe it is not due to kmail this time, maybe as suggested in comment #18 is a
caused by a random event that makes kmail loose connection with akonadi. Can we
reopen this report or should we file again this bug against akonadi?
