Summary: addressbook supports categories from prior level, but
                    cannot enter on new contacts.
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.13.2
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: addressbook
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: Aere at Dvorak-Keyboards.com

Version: 1.13.2 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

Although KMail's address book supports address book categories (imported from
the 9.10 version of Kubuntu/KMail, and they can be used in selecting e-mail
addresses displayed (with which a select-all can be done), it does not allow
you to enter a category for a contact being newly created.

This lack of backward compatibility invalidates my newsletter address-list
scheme used for years.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Enter a new contact.

Try to find somewhere in the dialog box to enter a category.

Actual Results:
No way found to enter a category.

Expected Results:
Should be some way to select (and enter a new) category, such as family,
newsletter-recipients, etc.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic
Compiler: cc
