This bug continues in 1.11.3 (KDE 4.2.3) as reported in #192717 and in KMail
Version 1.13.2 (KDE 4.4.2).

Search settings are stored in
.kde/share/apps/kmail/search/<foldername>

but not recalled as done in KMail: 1.9.6 (enterprise 0.20070907.709405) (kde
3.5.8).

So this bug is a regression.
