click on check mail
select a local folder 
right click on it 
in the context menu choose "Move all Messages to trash"
click on check mail
(you need new mail to be loaded in the selected folder - same folder as above )
right click
the "Move All Message to Trash" option stays disabled even if we have new mails
in the folder.
it should be enabled and usable
