Summary: KMail Crashes on Startup if Akonadi is running
           Product: KMail 2
           Version: 2.0 beta1
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: lindsay.mathieson at gmail.com

Application: kmail (2.0 beta1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.90 (KDE 4.4.90 (KDE 4.5 RC1))
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-23-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
On first boot and login to KDE akonadi is running, trying to start KMail from
this state always results in the attached crash. If I stop akonadi (akonadictl
stop, verified with ps -e|grep ak), then try to start KMail it starts fine,
briefly displays the "akonadi not running" msg and starts akonadi itself with
no issues.

There after I can use kmail with few :) issues, including stoping kmail and
restarting it while akonadi is still running.

If I reboot than I have to repeat the whole process.

Akonadi is configured with one disconnect IMAP acc, Local Folders, Personal
Contacts and the iCal calendar.

Using the KDE 4.5 RC1 platform SDK in Kubuntu 10.04
KDEPIM and KDEPIMPLATFORM are compiled from the 4.5 branch

The crash can be reproduced every time.
