What I was doing when the application crashed:
KMail crashed often in accessing IMAP folders and when movnig messages.
It is a "new" behaviour after the update before the most recent.
Never happened the other 10 years I have been using Linux form Fedora 5 on.

Linux box is running on a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor
6000+-machine with 4GB-RAM.
