Additional note: I just upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic. In the process I had to
pin some of the kdepim-stuff to "karmic" instead of "karmic3", otherwise they
would conflict with everythign KDE-related, and Kontact/Kmail would not install
at all.
Thought that may be related... 
Btw. that these kdepim-packages upgraded to "karmic3" messed up the whole
upgrade process... should I file a separate bug-report for that? It was pretty
annoying, because I could not even log-in to KDE at first.
