yes KDE 4.3.4 KMail 1.12.4
IMHO this happens if the connection to the server is (temporary) not available
currently this happend using a very slow WIFI connection in a hotel and KNemo
reported a short (~10 sec) disconnection which otherwise would not be evident
at all.
