Summary: clicking on a link within a message is cached/opened
in /var/tmp
Product: kmail
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: hans.ullrich at loop.de
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Dear kde-team,
maybe if this bug was reported before, please merge it.
Description: When clicking on a link within a message, then the link is opened
with konqueror in /var/tmp and not directly (it is cached). I checked all the
settings, they are correct (html is opened with konqueror, no personal
application set).
I found some discussion on the web about it, but no sulution. This behaviour is
especially annoying with an url ending with .php: In this case, the source-code
is shown!
I guess, this behaviour might be wanted due to security reasons, but sadly it
does not always work.
Cheers
Hans
