When I change the sort order of message list, a different message would be
selected an then displayed. The newly selected message appear quite random.
This is on IMAP account. Here's how to reproduce the bug:

1. Sort messages by Date
2. Select a message, preferably not the one at the end or beginning of the
sorted messages (just to eliminate "corner cases"). Say select a message from,
say, "Pete" who was sent last week.
3. Now I want to see all messages sent by Pete, so I hit "Sender" to sort by
sender.
4. Now the selected message jumps to something else, which appear random so
far.

Expected behavior: My selected and displayed message should stays to whatever I
selected before I change the sort order by Sender.
