Today I received an email from the debian bug tracking system, which Kmail
choked on. An error message dialog appears:

    Error while retrieving information on the structure of a message.
    The process for the imaps://imap.gmail.com protocol died unexpectedly.

the console output at that time is

    kmail(16496)/kio (Slave) KIO::Slave::gotInput: slave died pid =  16553

The affected email will be attached.
