Summary: Data loss: Ical files are emptied from one day to the
next
Product: kontact
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: sabine at kdab.net
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources
- Launch Kontact and go to KOrg
- Right click on an existing calendar from the resources/folders view and
select 'New Calendar...'
- Select 'ICal Calendar File' and click on 'Ok'
- Select a path, enter a Calendar name (ex: ICal file) and click on 'Ok'
- ICal file should now be displayed in the resources/folders view
- Click on the 'New Event' button to create a new event in ICal file, fill in
all the information and click on 'Ok'.
- The event should be displayed correctly in the agenda view.
But if you relaunch Kontact the next day the event is gone and the calendar
file on your hard drive is empty.
