This could be related to bug 222083, but it looks a bit different.

Check this:
- Quit Kontact (ignore the crash)
- Start Konsole
- Type "export QT_NO_GLIB=1" + Enter
- Type "export MALLOC_CHECK_=" + Enter
- Type "kontact" + Enter
- Use and quit Kontact and check if it crashes or not
If it doesn't crash, then it is likely to be related to bug 196207.
