To get this error you should do whichever you want for about 30 secs without
connecting to a server. Writing the reply, browsing previously downloaded
articles, whatever.

Here I have had subscribed to the test group on the news server (kraft.test)
switched to it and immediately got timeout error.

If you retry any of your action it'll work perfectly till the new timeout
occurs.
