I have message list with long subjects that do not fit column width. In knode
when I hover mouse over such field, small popup (technically this is probably
tooltip) with full contents appears. KMail in KDE3 did the same. In KDE4 this
feature was lost.

This is not limited to subject of course, but to any visible field.
