Offline comment, replying to comment 79: KMail is being ported to the Akonadi
framework, and as part of this port, the codebase is being splitted, cleaned
and polished, so there is a good chance that some of this old bugs get fixed.
The preliminary version is going to be release with KDE SC 4.5.
