Summary: second multi-selection in a row selects wrong emails
Product: kmail
Version: 1.12.4
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: mhlavink at redhat.com
Version: 1.12.4 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
When (for example) deleting a lots of emails you select using shift+left click,
selected are right emails, but when you do this again (without doing anything
else), wrong emails are selected for second time.
how reproducible:
always
steps to reproduce:
1) open some imap folder (not tested with pop3, but it should "work" too) with
enough emails
2) click on 5th email
3) shift-click on 10th email
-> emails 5.- 10. are selected, as expected
4) press delete to remove them
-> emails are deleted, now 5. email is selected (11. originally)
5) shift-click on 10. email
-> emails 5,10,11 are selected and this is wrong
when you delete much more emails it's difficult to spot you've selected wrong
emails and you can accidentally delete them this way
