Same issue here.

If Kontact is open and a mailto link is clicked on elsewhere (Firefox,
ksnapshot, etc) a warning dialog opens, telling the user that kmail/kontact is
already running.

openSuSE 11.3
Kmail 2.0.89
Kontact 4.6 beta 2
KDE 4.5.85

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Have Kontact open in the background, try to write a new mail from mailto link.

Actual Results:  
warning is displayed

Expected Results:  
user is able to write a new mail
