I don't think it's a migration issue -- I'm on Debian Sid, and I'm pretty sure
the move from 4.3 to 4.4 was long before the last month.

How can I tell if it's a native resource? It doesn't say "compatibility" or
"kresource" anywhere in the Akonadi dialogs for it, doesn't that mean it's
native?

(I just tried, btw, and when I add a new contact, it is not added to the file.
The file is touched, but not modified. The new contact is saved in the Akonadi
database. Seems related, but probably a separate bug...)
