Have the exact same issue with Mandriva 2010.1 and that same filter:

0 = "From" <is-in-addressbook> "is in address book"

the versions are:
Kmail 1.13.3
KDE 4.4.3

I have tried to change the address book from vxard file to akonadi format
without any sucess (the adress book works, but the filter still pretends none
of the emails is coming from an address book person)
