I've upgraded to KDE SC 4.6 beta2 and now kaddressbook 4.4.8 displays the .vcf
filename in the VCARD directory instead of "firstname lastname" see screenshot
attached

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use KDE SC 4.6 beta2 + kdepim 4.4.8: start kaddressbook or kontact and select a
VCARD directory resource

Actual Results:  
1) the vcf filename instead of "first lastname" is shown in the name column

2) Click on an entry show no detail of the contact on the right.

Expected Results:  
1) dispaly first lastname as for kdelibs < 4.6 beta

2) lemme view and edit my contacts again
