Telepathy is part of the picture, yes. But that is only for IM/VoIP. In
reality, proper use of Nepomuk by both Telepathy and e.g. KMail for email is
the way to solve this issue. That way, wherever a "person" is displayed, if it
uses the PIMO:Person objects in Nepomuk, it can be possible to contact them
through IM (Telepathy) email (KMail) etc.

So, when all the apps concerned are using PIMO:Person objects and Nepomuk
properly, this feature request is exactly how it will work :)
