Summary: Font size of pasted formatted text can not be changed
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.13.5
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: derdominique at habmalnefrage.de

Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

After copy&pasting formatted text (from a browser window, OpenOffice or
similar) into the composer, its font size can not be altered.

First I thought it happened randomly, but in fact it seems to depend whether or
not the text has "standard" formatting or is e.g. a "heading" (html <h3> for
example) in the original document.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Compose a new mail

2) Go to a web page that has normal text and headings.

3) Select text from header text and "normal" text (I chose two lines of the the
bug report form: "Step 2 of 3 - give information" and following line.)

4) Copy it via Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V or simply via the mouse middle click into the
composer window.

5) Select the whole text or parts of it.

6) Try to change the font size to "6" or so.

Actual Results:
The font size stays the same for the part of the test that was "heading" in the
former document.
The font size of the formerly "normal" text is changed as requested.

Expected Results:
All marked text elements should change their size to the requested value.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-24-generic
Compiler: cc
Ubuntu 10.04 with ppa repositories for KDE 4.5.00

Other formatting attributes (bold, underline, italic, color, ...) are changed
as requested.

Using the rubber does /not/ reset the font size, but all other format
attributes.
