Same problem on kdepim 4.5 beta1, see every time new records in 
~/.local/share/akonadi/akonadiserver.error:

ItemRetrieverException :  Unable to retrieve item from resource: Did not
receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a
reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout
expired, or the network connection was broken. 

But the internet connection is stable, available at boot time.
