I watched this problem on KDE 4.5RC2. The KMail composer was so slow, I could
type a text and watch the computer write it! But in KDE 4.5 final this problem
seems to be gone. (Everything on Arch Linux). Maybe some debugging symbols
caused that extrem slowdown.
