What I do not understand: Why does the status of this bug and the corresponding
bug stay "new" or "unconfirmed"? 

One more hint and "workaround" for people that prefer html mails:

If you paste the image before switching to html mode this will work. This shows
exactly that the bug is linked to the html editor in kmail.
