Since I upgraded to the 4.5 RC packages I was not able to reproduce this bug.
My gut feeling is this has to do with a race condition at startup, as even then
I couldn't reproduce it only at logon.
If anyone was able to reproduce the bug by recreating the race condition I'd be
happy to help more. Just tell me what commands to run.
