I am experiencing this bug with kmail 4.4.2 and POP3 when trying to preview
(preview window on the right side) an E-Mail with an attached image of around
550kb size. This is quite annoying because I could not save the contents of the
image because every time I tried Kmail crashed.

However I found out that viewing the message after double clicking does NOT
crash Kmail. I only had to disable preview mode in Settings > Appearance >
Layout and view the message by doubleclicking.
