After not having this for a long time (see comment #15), I'm now back again
with this bug. I'm still on KDE 4.2.4 and Qt 4.5 on Gentoo and the bug somehow
reappeared. I don't have a search folder nor do I do things different than
before. One can see Kontact is actually reindexing by executing "lsof -p
<kontact's process id>|grep index". This displays the index files currently
opened by Kontact.
