Summary: kmail doesn't awake from sleep properly
Product: kmail
Version: unspecified
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: ndbecker2 at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
When kmail wakes from sleep, with a new network connection, it has problems
receiving mail, which is the subject of other BR. This is about problems
_sending_ mail.
After waking, when a new mail is composed, sending will just hang. I can abort
the send. Then I can goto outbox and do 'send queued messages'. This will
work, except composer window, which is grayed out' will not close. Closing it
will then kill kmail. Then I have to restart kmail. This is the only sequence
that will work at all to recover from kmail waking up with a new network
connection.
