I think I don't quite understand your description.
My interpretation: kmail does not print, neither version 4.3.0 nor 4.3.1.
Same problem with kwrite, kdiff3.

What does that part mean:
"Postscript (lp print.ps) and PDF (okular print.pdf) printing is OK:"
?

Which program generated print.ps or print.pdf ?
Was this also done by kmail ?
