I think it only works with a debug build of KDE or probably also if you have
installed the -debug packages (I'm not sure though).
I'm not sure if the output helps a lot.
You could also ask for further help on debugging via IRC on #kontact or via the
KDE mailing lists, e.g. kdepim-users at kde.org
