Hi,

Yes, I can confirm this bug too, and it is very annoying.

Suspending and resuming the machine has the same effect, since the network
connection has to be re-established after the resume.

If I'm on a poor network connection, I typically have to restart KMail /
Kontact three or four times per day just due to dropped connections.
