What I was doing when the application crashed:
Devs,

    This one is strange. I have no idea what is causing kmail to grab virtually
all of the cpu and hang, but that is exactly what is happening.  This is a new
problem with this latest release of kmail. The last few releases didn't do
this. What happens is all of a sudden kmail just become non-responsive and grab
90+ percent of the cpu and must be closed with "force quit". According to the
about information, I have:

KMail
Version 1.12.2
Using KDE 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 163"
