What I was doing when the application crashed:
Kontact ALWAYS crashes on the first startup of the KDE session, on two
independent machines running Ubuntu 9.10.  Each instance of contact has 2 or 3
IMAPS accounts, one is linked to an LDAP/Active Directory server for address
lookups.
