What I was doing when the application crashed:
I have a big IMAP account. Selecting a new folder takes some time before it's
content is displayed. If I press "v" to see the content of a mail before that
loading is finished, kmail crashes badly. That is all the time.

If I remember correctly, this also happens when pressing "r" or "f" to
reply/forward a mail before the folder has been loaded.
