Hej Sabine,

that's a regression in Qt 4.6 (you'll see the same behavior with every other
QComboBox),
in Qt 4.5.3 it was working as expected.
I've filed a bug report (QTBUG-5454) today, so lets hope it get fixed for the
final
release of Qt 4.6.
