I can confirm the crash on trying to edit an existing journal entry.

System: Opensuse 11.1 x86_64
Version: 4.2.3-6.1
Repository: Pre-compiled binary from Opensuse

I installed the debug-info for kdepim and attached the trace (don't know if it
is any useful though...)
