Summary: Feature Request: option to not switch to browser when
clicking a link in a mail message.
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.10.3
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: gen37_19 at yahoo.co.uk

Version: 1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Mandriva Linux release
2009.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.19-desktop586-1mnb

I receive regular email newsletters with numerous links to websites in them. I
would like to be able to click on these links, have the relevant web pages open
but stay with Kmail.

At the moment when you click on a link you are immediately transferred to the
browser window. This means you have to switch back to Kmail, click on the next
link, go to the browser, switch back to Kmail, click on the link etc. This is

It would be very nice to be able to click on several links and have the pages
open in the background.
