My work email setup uses an IMAP-based server. Kmail hangs (no response) when
"New message" icon is clicked on the toolbar or File->New->New Message... is
chosen from the menu.

I have noticed it across distributions.

The same behaviour (hang) is noticed when trying to forward an existing
message.

The only thing that works is Reply/Reply All. Although I use this as a
workaround, its very annoying having the email client hang when trying to
compose a new email.
