For me, the problem shows up when I click the attachment and try to save or
open.  But if I right-click and select 'save as', then the save works.

I believe the problem is related to a bad temp file name. For example, I have a
file named "C:\schematics\EVK1105\EVK1105_revB.pdf", and okular gave a messages
saying "Cannot open /tmp/C:\schematics\EVK1105\EVK1105_revB.pdf"

I think that modifying the filename into something valid may solve the problem.
