Confirmed here.

I was silently assuming that there will be massive architectural changes with
the advent of Akonadi into Kmail, and thus many bugs disappearing. Does anyone
know to what extent Kmail uses Akonadi right now, and how it will change in the
upcoming  KDE 4.3?
