I just subscribed to my gmail spam folder and deleted 475 emails.

I did not get a crash.  With previous versions I could get it to crash within 5
or 10 email deletions.

I was testing 4.2.98 (release 148) as compiled for Novell on their OBS for
OpenSUSE 11.1
